How we started
Jess ran video for a skincare brand and kept hiring freelancers who made one great video and then disappeared. Owen was the camera operator on a lot of those shoots. In 2021 they started Playframe to do the opposite: the same small crew, every month, for a handful of brands.
We still work that way. Each client has one strategist, one shooter and one editor who know the brand. We take on two new clients a quarter so the work stays good.
